Uneekor makes three ceiling mounted launch monitors, and on paper they look similar. All three use high speed infrared cameras, read the dimples of a normal golf ball, and run on Uneekor VIEW and popular third party simulator software. The differences show up in where the unit mounts, how big the hitting zone is, and how club data is captured. Those details decide which one makes sense for your room.
All specifications below come from Uneekor's current product pages for the EYE XO, EYE XO2 and EYE XR.
| EYE XO | EYE XO2 | EYE XR | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mounting | Ceiling, above the ball | Ceiling, above the ball | Ceiling, behind the golfer |
| Cameras | 2 | 3 | 2 |
| Hitting zone | 12 in × 16 in | 28 in × 21 in | 14 in × 12 in |
| Club stickers | Recommended for club data | See Uneekor guidance | Not required (Club AI) |
| Optimal mount height | 10 ft | 10 ft | 10 ft |
| Minimum room | 13 ft wide × 16 ft deep × 10 ft high for all three | ||
All three require a Windows 11 PC. Uneekor lists an Intel Core i7 (12th Gen or later) or AMD Ryzen 7 (5000 Series or later), 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti or equivalent graphics card.

The EYE XO mounts directly above the hitting area and uses two cameras to capture ball and club data. Because nothing sits on the floor, you get a clean hitting area and both right and left handed golfers can use the same setup.
The tradeoff is a smaller hitting zone than the XO2. Players need to set the ball in roughly the same spot each time. Uneekor also recommends club stickers for accurate club data, which some golfers do not mind and others find tedious.
Best for: a dedicated room where you want overhead tracking and full ball and club data, and you are comfortable placing the ball in a defined zone.

The EYE XO2 adds a third camera and a 28 × 21 inch hitting zone, the largest in Uneekor's lineup. That extra area matters most when several people share the simulator. Righties and lefties can step in and hit without anyone moving the ball position or the hardware.
Uneekor lists 15 ball data points and 9 club data points for the XO2, including club path, face angle, attack angle, dynamic loft, lie angle and impact point. If you want the most complete picture of each strike from an overhead unit, this is it.
Best for: premium home studios, families and friend groups with mixed handedness, and golfers who want the most data and the most forgiving ball placement.

The EYE XR takes a different approach. It mounts on the ceiling behind the golfer instead of directly above the ball, which keeps the unit well out of the swing path. It uses Uneekor's sticker free Club AI, so you do not need to apply markers to your clubs for club data.
Its hitting zone is 14 × 12 inches, which is smaller than the XO2. Uneekor lists 19 combined ball and club data points.
Best for: golfers who want ceiling mounted tracking without stickers on their clubs and prefer the unit positioned behind them.
If none of the overhead units fit your room, a floor unit like the EYE MINI LITE may be the better path. We compare those options in EYE MINI LITE vs EYE XO2.
Every one of these units will give you accurate data. The right choice depends on your ceiling, who is playing, and whether club stickers bother you.
