The best golf simulator for your room is the one you can use comfortably without working around the walls, ceiling, or equipment. Start with the space and the people who will play in it. Then choose the enclosure and launch monitor that fit that plan.
A single room size recommendation cannot confirm every installation. Your height, swing, handedness, mat thickness, ceiling obstructions, and chosen equipment all affect the layout. The following approach helps you collect the information needed for a useful comparison.

Record the room’s width, depth, and lowest usable ceiling height. Measure the area you can actually dedicate to golf, not simply the distance between the outer walls. Include beams, soffits, garage door rails, light fittings, radiators, and storage that will remain in place.
Draw a simple floor plan with door swings, windows, outlets, and obstructions marked. Photos from all four corners can reveal restrictions that a list of measurements misses. If the room has a sloped ceiling, note where the height changes.
Mark a possible tee position on the floor. From there, consider where your body stands and where the club travels through the entire motion. Account for the finished mat height when considering ceiling clearance. Avoid assuming that an empty room measurement applies unchanged once the hitting platform is installed.
Check clearance slowly with no ball and only where you can do so safely. Stop if you feel restricted or cannot establish a clear path. Leave a generous margin rather than treating a near miss as a successful fit check. Review the final layout with your installer when clearance is uncertain.
A room designed around one player may feel different when a taller friend visits or a left handed golfer steps onto the mat. Decide whether you need a centered hitting position for both orientations or a layout primarily for one player.
An overhead launch monitor may simplify switching players, but it cannot create additional swing width. If accommodating both orientations matters, evaluate both sides of the tee position before committing to the screen size.

Compare actual assembled height, width, and depth with the usable room measurements. Nominal enclosure names are not an installation clearance specification. Include the manufacturer’s required space behind and around the screen, plus access needed for assembly.
Compare the Pro enclosure and Curved enclosure by their dimension charts. A larger curved screen may suit a dedicated studio, while a different enclosure size can leave more room for circulation. Choose the size that works with your swing and installation rather than the largest screen that appears to fit the wall.
For EYE XO2, Uneekor recommends a room of at least 13 ft wide × 16 ft deep × 10 ft high on its current product page. Treat that as a model planning reference, not a guarantee that your selected enclosure or every player will fit. The installation manual also specifies the sensor’s placement relative to the tee position.
A ground unit such as EYE MINI LITE gives you a different mounting arrangement. It still needs the correct ball position, a suitable surface beside the mat, and a protected route for power and data cables. Check each model’s instructions before finalizing your plan.
Place the projector on the plan before ordering a mount. Check the chosen projector’s throw requirements against the intended image width, and keep the mounting position clear of the swing. Consider shadows, cable length, access for maintenance, and where the computer will sit.
Keep the route into the room clear and place seating outside the hitting area. A successful layout should work when the room is being used, not only when everything is pushed against a wall.
Before choosing a Pro studio package or Curved studio package, collect your usable dimensions, ceiling obstacles, player heights and handedness, proposed tee position, enclosure dimensions, and projector plan. This makes the next conversation specific and helps avoid buying equipment around an untested assumption.
