Frame Options
The standard Carl's Place DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit includes the fittings required to assemble the frame, but EMT pipe is not included unless the Pipe Framing Kit option is selected.
For a traditional DIY installation, 1 inch EMT electrical metal tubing can be purchased locally and cut according to the specifications provided for your selected enclosure.
For a simpler installation, select the optional Carl's Place Pipe Framing Kit to receive the required tubing already cut to the appropriate lengths for your enclosure.
Room Planning
Before choosing your enclosure size, measure the width, height, and depth of your available simulator space.
Carl's Place recommends leaving approximately 12 inches of space behind the enclosure, with at least 8.25 inches required behind the frame to accommodate the rear fittings.
Your room should also provide enough space for a comfortable golf swing, launch monitor placement, projector positioning, and safe hitting distance from the impact screen.
