BenQ LK936ST 4K HDR 5100-Lumen Short Throw Laser Projector |

LK936ST-001

Transform your golf simulator into a truly immersive experience with the BenQ LK936ST. Designed specifically with simulation environments in mind, the LK936ST combines stunning 4K UHD resolution, 5,100 ANSI lumens, HDR support, and short throw projection to deliver sharp, bright, realistic visuals across large impact screens.

Whether you're practicing on a world-class course, watching a tournament, or turning your simulator room into a home theater, the LK936ST delivers the clarity and performance expected from a premium golf studio.

Built for Premium Golf Simulators

With 4K UHD resolution and 8.3 million pixels, the LK936ST brings fairways, greens, bunkers, and course details to life with exceptional definition. Its dedicated Golf Mode is optimized to reproduce natural golf-course colors, helping create a more realistic and engaging indoor golf experience.

The powerful 5,100-lumen laser light source maintains a bright, vibrant image even in rooms with ambient lighting, making it an excellent choice for dedicated home studios, commercial installations, and multipurpose entertainment spaces.

Short Throw. Big Screen. More Flexibility.

The LK936ST features a 0.81–0.89 short throw ratio with 1.1x optical zoom, allowing you to create a massive image while keeping the projector positioned safely above and behind the hitting area. This helps reduce unwanted shadows and glare while keeping the projector away from the golfer's swing path.

For more challenging installations, extensive vertical and horizontal lens shift, 3D keystone correction, and Corner Fit provide additional flexibility when perfectly centering the projector isn't possible.

Golf Simulator by Day. Home Theater by Night.

The LK936ST isn't limited to golf. Its combination of 4K HDR, high contrast, and accurate color reproduction makes it equally capable as the centerpiece of a premium home theater or entertainment room.

Questions about the BenQ LK936ST 4K HDR 5100 Lumen Short Throw Laser Golf Simulator Projector

Is the BenQ LK936ST good for a golf simulator?

Yes. The LK936ST is a 4K UHD (3840 by 2160) laser projector with 5,100 ANSI lumens, HDR and a dedicated Golf Mode tuned for natural course colors. It stays bright in rooms with some ambient light, and it doubles as a home theater projector.

How far from the screen does the LK936ST need to be?

The throw ratio is 0.81 to 0.89, so the projector sits about 0.81 to 0.89 times the image width away from the screen. For example, a 10 ft wide image needs roughly 8.1 to 8.9 ft of throw distance. It projects images from 30 to 300 inches.

Can I mount the LK936ST off center?

Yes. It has ±60% vertical and ±23% horizontal lens shift, ±40 degree vertical and horizontal keystone, ±40 degree rotation correction, 1.1x zoom and Corner Fit, so you can line up the image even when the projector cannot be perfectly centered.

What aspect ratio is the LK936ST?

Its native aspect ratio is 16:9. Match it to a 16:9 impact screen to use the full image.

Should I choose the LK936ST or the LU935ST?

Both have the same 0.81 to 0.89 throw ratio. The LK936ST is 4K at 16:9 with 5,100 lumens and HDR. The LU935ST is WUXGA (1920 by 1200) at 16:10 with 5,500 lumens. Choose the LK936ST for the sharpest picture, or the LU935ST for a little more brightness and a taller 16:10 image.

Can you help me pick the right projector for my room?

Yes, for free. Send us your screen size, room depth and ceiling height and we will recommend a projector and mounting position. Call (619) 927-6193 or book a free 30 minute consult.
